Just Breathe

Give yourself a 5-minute break from your daily routine and just center your attention on your breathing. Close your eyes, clear your mind, sit up straight, and then place your hands on your stomach. Inhale very slowly, feeling your breath arise in your belly and gradually working its way to your head. Then gently breathe out through your mouth. Repeat the process 10 to 20 times. Remember that properly breathing can also help improve concentration.

Exercise also helps improve the quality of sleep that negatively affects by stress.


Lessen Your Caffeine Consumption

Generally, caffeine can be found in coffee and energy drinks. Some studies show that high caffeine intake can increase stress and anxiety. However, every individual differs on how much caffeine they can consume. Caffeine intake greatly varies per person. So, if you feel that caffeine makes you anxious, consider reducing if not completely stop caffeine intake.
