Pet owners also have lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which can all be linked to leading a healthier lifestyle because of owning a pet. The CDC reports that if you have a dog around, your blood pressure is lower and it all goes back to the unconditional love of a pet towards its owners.
So, whether you’re starting a family and want to expand it for one extra member, or if you are living alone and would like a companion for all of your adventures, a pet will be the friend that will stay with you for decades. Of course, you have to be aware that they are a responsibility, as well as a friend, but once you fall in love with them – which shouldn’t take long at all – it will become a part of your life and you won’t even notice the chores.
